[Jump Into the World] International and Domestic Students Come Together
아하! 세계학습공동체
The ‘A-ha! Global Learning Community’ started last year and its third program began in April. In total, 76 teams were selected for this session and applications are increasing. Park Are-neung (Junior, Dept. of Korean Literature & Language) who was a member of one of the excellent teams last year said, “At first, I did not know much about the international students at CNU even though I had a few in my class. But after this program, I could understand them more.“
To qualify, ‘Iggumi’ students must have an A in their major course or certain high scores in official foreign language test such as TOEIC and TOEFL. Also students can apply to this program if they have a recommendation from their advisor. There are no qualifications to be a ‘Ddarmi’ so any student who wants to join the program can apply for this online. The EDRI provides some financial support to participants and they will receive a certificate from the EDRI if they finish their work and act according to the rules. If you would like more detailed information and apply for this program, you can visit the Internet homepage of the EDRI or contact them by phone at 530-2333.
